There are rarely any metal parts. Each piece of wood is carefully selected. The primary criteria are the structural integrity afforded by the species and grain pattern. I then combine component parts using joinery, glue and dowels; striving for excellence in both function and form. *** Whether a cane is needed or not, I can think of no good reason why it should not reflect positively upon the person carrying it. Why would a lady or gentleman who considers style and appearances in their fashion accessories ever neglect to do the same with the one that often makes the first impression? Does a piece of extruded aluminum with a neoprene grip and a push button adjustment really reflect your personality accurately?
